well to be fair the chinese would probably pay the farmers and near by citizens to move and they will be set for life.
and as for the project itself, i think it looks beautifull and im all for it.

This Whole Week Ive Been Dreaming About Swimming Pools! The First Day I Dreamt I Was Swimming In A Cave In China. The Second Dream I Had I Was At A Water Park Swimming In The Huge Pool. The Following Day I Dreamt That I Was In PE And I Had To Take A Shower. Then I Had A Dream Last Night That I Was On A Cruise Ship And Then I Jumped Off With My Friends Into The Sea & We Were Swimming Near The Boat. What Does My Dreams Mean?

I don’t have the energy to climb on my soap box, but I completely 100% agree with you. How dare we be so arrogant and selfish. It enrages me sometimes.

To put it in the simplest terms, it is the human race that deserves be extinct. Our extinction is the only thing that can save our poor sick planet. That may be a disturbing thought to some people but it is true.

We are also ballroom dancer instructors on cruise ships and want to continue to do that. Other interests include skiing and exploring. Any advice?

It depends on which city are you going to. Usually in Shanghai and Peking are more expansive, but everyone include the chinese wants to live there, and it also depends if you want to live in the center of the city or in the countryside. Living costs would be at least 450 pounds.

i was told about a poem / epic about Yangtze River a few months ago telling the story of a couple, which fall apart , one is at the beginning side and other is at the ending side, they get together when they both drink from the Yangtze etc… any one knows the poem and remind me please 🙂 ( Also if possible Translation in Eng. )

From a Shanghainese girl.( she didnt write ) they werent in sky and in the end of the story they were drinking from the same water and coming together. This is a bit like summary of the poem. about Yangtze River

the only legend that comes to my mind is about the sky lovers split by the Sky great river…
and there wasn’t anything about drinking the water….

I am searching for a documentary that I saw maybe 10 years ago about the Yangtze River. It is not the Up the Yangtze that was recently produced and won so many awards.

As I recall, it was produced by a Japanese crew ( maybe 10-12 years ago) and they started their journey from where the River begins in the mountain,s and then they travel all the way to the Delta.
It was an amazing documentary but I lost the sheet where I had written down the name etc.

Has anyone seen it? What was it called?

I know part of the chinese version of that poem I think. I remember something that has to do with the ducks that swim on it or something like that.
