President Palace is located in the Changjiang Road in Nanjing and now it has become China’s largest museum of modern history . The President Palace in Nanjing has a history of more than 600 years, more than 100 years from First Opium War in 1840 to the Nanjing liberation in 1949, it has witnessed a series of major events in China and has close relationship with that, moreover, some important characters also appeared here. The buildings, has become an important site in modern Chinese history.

President Palace was built on June 1 of the first year of the republic of China and completed on
March of the eighth years of the republic of China. The whole building is based on positive gate entrance building, one layer is closely linked another with the rigorous structure, symmetric shape and fine design. Towering columns, refined carve, deep corridors, delicate arch can be seen everywhere in the President Palace, which fully shows the Baroque-style architecture character during the European Renaissance.

Covering an area of 90,000 square meters with 3 visiting zones, the President Palace has been China’s political and military center and the birthplace of a major event for many times. It also witnesses China’s prosperity and decline during the Republic of China era, and it also a witness to the replacement of the Nanjing modern history.
