[Though Kaiyuan is not outstanding as a tourist city, its name spreads among travelers nationwide because of the rime. The rime on the Lujiang River is one of four natural wonders in China, enjoying equal fame as Guilin Mountains and Streams, Yunnan Stone Forest and the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River do. The rime, also called “snow willow”, “tree hanging”, “ice flowers”, “water vaporized flowers”, “silver flowers”, is a kind of phenomenon, in which winter fog condenses on the branches and leaves of trees to form separate, white ice crystals, according to metrology.]
Oh, dear! I have to face thouse stuff every day, and it’s so obscure, even native speakers can not correct them. Damn~~~~~~

okay i am writing a book and in it there is this a traumatized soldier, after he leaves the military, years later he is hired to take and protect this 14 year old boy, who has received several threats against his life, from his school in china to his home in boston, when certain event force them to take a cruise liner instead of flying they get into a fight and the man greatly insults the boy, which then leads the young boy to show his true talents and attack the barriers the man set up in his mind to cope with the traumatic events he experienced in service, while he tries to escape he is unable due to being miles from any kind of land, if he runs the boy will follow, he cannot assault the boy due to what he is being payed and he does not want to get arrested, all the while he is still attacking his mental barriers trying to rip them down one by one, so my question is how would a traumatized soldier react to this? what would he say? where would he go if he was trapped on a cruise liner in the middle of the ocean?

I am looking at a trip with 2 other people to either
Germany+Netherlands with Rhine Cruise
Italy and Switzerland
Turkey (Istanbul and Turquoise Coast)
China (Beijing, Xian, Gullin, Shanghai)
We went to London and Paris for 10 days and it was very busy and on the go. We want something that is simple and leisurely. We want to take in the surrounding and just relax. Also we want a place that the Cuisine is more meat and etc. A place that does not have a lot of fish or spicy food. BTW
this would be in July of 2010 so maybe somewhere wiht not a lot of tourist.

I wanted to take a trip and was thinking about China. I’ve been to Athens and backpacked Italy. I took a cruise to Alaska. Been to several places in Canada I’ve seen a lot of the US and plan more. I would like to know what countries you enjoyed. I was also thinking about the Copper Canyon tour in Mexico. Hope you can help. Where in this world would be good to go? I can’t afford space!

It will be for next year, 2007.

1. Renting a villa in Italy like in Enchanted April has always been enticing to me. Wonder what the costs are like.

2. One idea we have is to rent a house in Italy for a month or two and tour a few places in Europe by train in the meantime; then a week-long trip to Asia (minus mainland China) or Canada; then relax some at home. Although airfares may add up quite high.

3. Our boy (will be 5 yr old by the time) is very active and outdoory, wherever we stay, we need plenty of choices for physical activities (mud play is fine too :-).

4. Cruise ships and islands are out, we prefer solid grounds :-). Although a short trip to an island is fine.

5. All of us enjoy hiking, our little boy does well on that.

6. Whatever you suggestion, please recommend a season also. We can go anytime between January and August.
